DRAW & PAINT YOUR OWN T-SHIRT
I often thinking of if i can draw and paint my own tee, with my own design. How wonderful would it be. So on the year 2005, i started to do some research on how to freehand painted on t-shirt. But, i did not found anything useful. Some of them, they used stencil to help them to paint. But, this is not what i want.
I like to have something really free style. So that even the two design can be the same, but their stroke, their shading, their colorings can never be the same. Just like our signature, they must look the same, but we all know that they can never be exactly the same. Furthermore, we can add background to the image or change the image color as we wish.
Unlike painting on a piece of paper, painting on fabric is not an easy job. We can't use a eraser to erase off what we don't want. Or can we simply press the delete key on the keyboard to delete off everything. A single mistake made on the t-shirt, can damage the whole thing. So i have to be very careful and concentrate when i am doing the painting.
I've always like drawing, so i take it as an interest and hobby to paint. I had been practice for quite sometime, before i can really manage the technique of how to 100% freehand painted on fabric. At first, i only use water color Dyes to paint. But somehow, it can't give me the effect that i want. So, i try to play around with water color Dyes and Pastel Dye Sticks. Apparel are prewashed and freehand painted with fabric paint so the color do not fade.

She is one of my idol. I took part in her comic design competition in the year 1994. And i was the only Singapore participant to have won a prize. Although fourteen years had passed, many things had changed. I still preferred to paint her on my tee.
